Amazing Car Photography

Since I joined Google Plus, I have been noticing that they're are some truly talented photographers out there. I happen to be photographer but I have been putting up photo's that are for the most part unedited. The way you see them are the way they come off my Iphone or Nikon D5000. Over the last few days I have been working on some editing techniques for my automotive photography (I normally shoot nature) The photo's below were all taken and edited by yours truly. You will see a watermark that says Hidden Factor Imaging on the photo's. This is the name I use. If you like these you can see more photography at https://www.facebook.com/HiddenFactorImaging

Cruise night V2

Here we are on a Sunday morning. In Canada at least we are. It is time for another round up of the weekly cruise night. There were some interesting cars there this week including an Opel GT, so I hope you like them.
A beautifully Fiat 500 Abarth Esse Esse, not sure of the year. Iphone

The colour combination of the paint and dark rims on this 1965 Mustang caught my eye. Iphone

Very rare sight in Canada. An Opel GT. I think it looks like a tiny 1972 Corvette. Iphone

The blue on the Early 90's Corvette was stunning. Iphone

Just a couple of Triumph Spitfires. Iphone.

Oh look what we have here. Instead of spitfires it's a couple of Alfa Romeo's, Cool, Iphone

A gorgeously slammed Buick Wildcat, Iphone

Normally I would not take this shot. This car was so clean though, Iphone

I would really like to see these two hit the strip. Iphone

Some engine porn for you mustang heads out there. Iphone

Honestly I have no idea what this is. It is VERY custom, also very cool. Iphone

A super rare Sunbeam Rapier. What a great car for cruising. Iphone
So there you have it. Another week of gorgeous cars has been put in the books. I Hope you enjoy it.
Remember to follow Automotive Aperature for more of these.

Weekly Cruise Night Photo's

About a week back I stated that I was attending a cruise night that goes on every week. I then stated that I would be posting some pictures from that cruise night later on that week because of the variety and quality of the cars that show up there. I did not follow up on that promise due to some internet service provider issues and I would like to sincerely apologize to my viewers for that.

Now however everything is sorted out, mind you they are late but here are said pictures from the weekly cruise night.

Weekly cruise night

This week, along with most Wednesday's I am attending a car show in Mississauga,Ontario. I attend this car show weekly as both a car nut and a photographer( see where I'm going with this). I slew of pictures will follow later this week. These will include everything from exotics to muscle cars to the occasional rod and the odd quirky thing I find ( last week there was a 1930s chevy covered in what looked to be rhino truck bed lining).

The next post will be much more free form than my last few so let me know what ya think. It's a nice day and nice days bring out nice cars.

Muscle on the brain

I have been going to car shows of all kinds for my entire life. My father always had some sort of car project on the go and like many children who grew up with a car-nut father it kind of rubbed off on me. He was always working on hot rods (specifically his 1931 Model A coupe). I however was always drawn to muscle cars. The roar of a Hemi in a 1970 Cuda or the presence of a 1967 GTO, these were what my dreams were made of, these were what got my whole car obsession started and than the Dodge Viper came along and I was lost forever in the endless sea of metal and horsepower.

LMC super Cuda, Nikon D5000
LMC super Cuda, Nikon D5000
one of my favorite cars, It's not a hemi but that can be overlooked due to the fact that this one has a 1000 hp twin turbo Viper V10 and can run with a Ferrari Enzo.

Some more shots of the Super Cuda. It's located at Legendary Motor Sports in Milton Ontario.

That grill looks so mean.

A gorgeous Corvette Stingray, iphone
This sting ray caught my eye at an exotic car show in Toronto, the paint on this car is awesome I love the colour.

GTO Judge, iPhone

GTO Judge, iPhone
Not my favorite GTO but still a very nice 69 Judge.

Corvette's, iPhone
I love the dichotomy of these two Corvette's. Old an new both with amazing colour.

Plymouth Roadrunner, iPhone
This car was insane, it has around 700 Horsepower and an amazing custom paint job. Unfortunately it did not come through in the photo's because of the sun's glare, but alas that is some of the things you must deal with when taking shots outside.

That is just a taste of some of the muscle car's I love. I have not by any means covered all of them. I have just started to scratch the surface and I will definitely revisit this genre in the future but for now enjoy them and come back for the next one.
